Fyle vs Egnyte

Egnyte already sells much of Fyle’s enterprise checklist: a managed MCP server, storage in your own AWS or Azure bucket, and UK storage. What it lacks is branch-and-review for agent changes and a personal or small-team tier. Fyle plans both, built around a desktop drive.

Last checked: October 2026. Every Egnyte fact links to its source.

Fyle is in development. Built so far: accounts, organisations with roles, two-factor sign-in, organisation security policies, and device sign-in for the desktop app and CLI. The drive, agent sessions and review are planned and not available yet.
